 It is with great joy that RKZ Records releases the album Beto Salmon - Assembly reuniting its original mixes and demos of the years 2008 and 2009.

    In this 15 tracks's compilation Beto Salmon shows his stylistic dominance of minimal techno, techno pop, dub, ambient, IDM and electro house, releasing the impressionist atmosphere that characterizes his composition. His most influential influences are Eric Satie, Minimalism, avant-garde, cyber-fiction and 80's. Highlighted for the tracks Tears for the Killing Moon, Radio, Okinawa Girl and Maneuvers on Ships.

    Beto Salmon has a long history as a producer of electronic music since the early 90's, having released his music by several labels and produced remixes for artists of various styles. His career as a DJ and producer began in 1994 and at this stage directs his work to tech house and IDM. In 97 he released his first album "Maresias, Brazil - Downbeat Essentials" by MBB. This album - like many other works of this stage - was produced in the Alfredo Bello's (DJ Tudo) studio Terreiro du Passo. Over a suggestion from the drummer / percussionist Simone Soul and with the approval of Sérgio Dias, he was invited to do the remix of the track "Technicolor" from the tribute album "Jardim Elétrico - A tribute to Os Mutantes". The remix of this track was made at the legendary studio of Sérgio Dias in Cotia-SP. He won as the best house producer the Dub Music Contest whose prestigious jury was composed by Gui Boratto, Renato Cohen and Rica Amaral.

   Beto Salmon has a profound record knowledge and he's the person whom you can talk for hours about the genealogy of styles, musicians, producers and albums. This knowledge comes from the 8 years (90-98) that he directed the record shop "Blood" which was an important focus of electronic music diffusion, being frequented by all the range of Djs that appeared at the time, including artists like DJ Mau-Mau and DJ Marky. During the first 4 years of the store his partner was nothing less than Johnny Hansen of the seminal and pioneering band Harry.

   Like Hansen, Beto Salmon belongs to a generation of musicians from the Baixada Santista and in the early 1980s he joined the "Abortados", a suicide band whose unusual background had organ and piano. He participated as guitarist of projects of hardcore, punk rock and new wave. Already in São Paulo, he led the band "The Salmon", playing in clubs like Retro and Armageddon and making success in the indie shoegaze scene.

    He is in the entry "Beto Salmon" of the dictionary MEB - History of Brazilian Electronic Music by Eric Marke. He also worked with stylist Samuel Cirnansck as a music designer producing tracks for his first two parades. For 25 years he teaches and teaches music courses in electronic music, in addition to playing in clubs, raves and privates. Released in 2015 in Beatport the EP Rolls Clouds - Cryogenic Fellings by the label Audio B.

Beto Salmon possui um longo percurso como produtor de música eletrônica desde o início dos anos 90, tendo lançado suas músicas por diversos selos e produzido remixes para artistas de variados estilos. Sua carreira como DJ e produtor se inicia em 1994 e nesta fase direciona sua produção para o tech house e IDM. Em 97 lança seu primeiro álbum Maresias, Brazil – Downbeat Essentials pela MBB. Este álbum - como muito outros trabalhos desta fase - foi produzido no estúdio Terreiro du Passo de Alfredo Bello (DJ Tudo). Através da baterista/percussionista Simone Soul e com a aprovação de Sérgio Dias foi convidado para fazer o remix da faixa “Technicolor” do álbum “Jardim Elétrico - A Tribute to Os Mutantes”. O remix desta faixa foi realizado no lendário estúdio de Sérgio Dias em Cotia-SP. Venceu como melhor produtor de house o Dub Music Contest cujo prestigioso júri era composto por Gui Boratto, Renato Cohen e Rica Amaral.

Há 25 anos dá aulas e cursos de produção musical em música eletrônica, além de tocar em clubs, raves e privates. Lançou em 2015 no Beatport o EP Rolls Clouds – Cryogenic Fellings pelo selo Audio B.
